Are there medications to help with perimenopause symptoms?

My periods are becoming irregular, sometimes very heavy. I get intense breast pain now and PMS. I'm so cranky and irritable. Are there medications to ease these symptoms?

Zoloft? Really, many guns will prescribe an antidepressant to help with mood swings and anxiety that can be concomitant with peri symptoms.

Is there one pill that will ease all these symptoms? No...you'd probably need several meds. I know that besides Zoloft, I'd need something to help with hormonal acne, migraines, osteopenia, stinky body odor that is undeterred by regular deodorants and random facial sweating and the occasional night sweats.

Isn't middle age fun?
