what would you do with this chicken?

Took chicken out of freezer to make for dinner tonight. It has a sell by date of the 15th. DH decided he wanted Indian take out tonight instead. Can I cook it for dinner tomorrow or should I just saute it up tonight and reheat it with some rice tomorrow? I'm super paranoid about food poisoning.

Sounds fine for tomorrow. The sell by date doesn't apply if its been frozen.
