Swim lessons for adults?

| This day and age, we should all be able to swim but I don't know how. I want to learn! Where? Is it expensive? or do i just go into the pool and start moving. I did that, didn't work so well. However, I can float on my back but only if I know the water is not deep beneath me. I hear it's harder for adults to learn. |

| Where are you located? There are lots of adult swim classes at my pool in Rockville and they are affordable. |

| There was a thread on this awhile back you might search for. Check your county rec guide -- I know Montgomery County has a whole series of adult beginner classes. |
