how long whould it take for HR to respond by email?

I've had 3 rounds of interviews.
If I email my HR contact, how long it is reasonable to wait to hear back? Those who work in HR, what is your turn around for email replies? |

| Not HR but I would think a few days minimum, to a week is reasonable? Is this private sector or Feds? Feds could be a few weeks easily. |
