I need to start squeezing in workouts to lose those last few pounds. I can probably get myself out of bed 30min earlier than my 5:30am wakeup, but no way am I going to be up at 4 or 4:30 to put in a hard 60min session.
These both look to be short and intense. Do they work, and any feedback on which is better? I was pretty active pre-baby but am working full time and juggling a 1YO so I really don't have the time to commit that I did before for long daily swims or 5mile runs. |
Focus T25 is what you want then. It's Shaun T's new workout. Only 25 minutes long. I've been on it for 7 weeks, and lost 8 lbs.
How fit are you already? 30 day shred is way easier than insanity.
Agreed. Insanity is, well, insane.
Insanity is more than 30 minutes. The warm up is an ass kicker and I think it's 20 minutes. It may be 15, but I take a water break.
The first month of Insanity, the workouts are about 45 min; in the second month, they are about an hour. Focus T25, as PP mentioned, is the new, shorter (25 min) version of Insanity. Both Insanity and Focus T25 are more challenging than Jillian Michaels's workouts, IMO. If I were you, I'd start with the 30-Day Shred (it's not very expensive), and then move onto Focus T25.
Insanity is the bomb, I've done both, Insanity is better.
I love the 30 day shred
