How can I stop puppy from biting my cat?

We have an 8 week old puppy who will eventually be a huge dog and a cat that is very laid back and sweet. Our cat doesn't run away when the puppy starts biting, instead they wrestle. It looks cute but then the puppy will have a mouth full of fur and because my cat is so laid back I am afraid he will just "take it". Is there anything I can do to discourage the puppy from biting my cat?

The cat will fight back when the puppy is playing too hard. Otherwise you can distract the puppy when it tries to tackle the cat.

Right now it sounds like true play. This is how animals play. PP is right that when the cat is bothered she will scratch the dog. It's not broken so don't fix it. You are lucky they get along so well.
