| My girls are starting tennis this fall and I need to buy a racket for each. Hope not to spend too much, so will try CraigsList first. Any advice on what size racket to buy or what I should look for? One is 42" tall and the other is 48" tall. Thanks! |
| If you go to Sports Authority, they have small racquets for about $20 each. They say on them what age/height they are for. I'd probably get a 21' for your younger child and a 23" for your older. |
| $15-20 on Amazon. I'd probably start them with 21" & 19", and plan to move them up a size each after ~6 months. |
| Similar question -- anything wrong with picking up cheap rackets at Target for kids who are just starting out? |
Nope -- this is the way to go. Those "cheap" racquets are actually pretty decent these days. Much better than the heavy old cheap ones from back in the day. |

PSA:
You hit a tennis ball with a racquet. Not a racket. Thank you! |
| Good yard sale deals out there as well |
