CTY - looking for feedback on specific math classes

DC just finished 4th grade math at a private school; she is not in an accelerated program. Her basic skills are fine, but I would like her to try a class that requires more thinking, as opposed to just calculation. Would either Elementary Problem Solving II or Math Olympiad for Elementary School Students fit the bill? If your child has taken either class, how much time did it take per week and how long did it take to complete the course? Did s/he find it fun/engaging or just more homework? Thanks.

(She has already tested into the program.)

You might look into Khan Academy too-- it's free, self-paced and lot of interesting material presented well.
