When do they usually release the first day of school date for next year? I can't find it on the MCPS websites.

I don't know when they release it, but for the past 8 years the first day of school has been the Monday or Tuesday before Labor Day. For 2014 that day is August 25.

Usually in late fall (November). But I agree that it will likely be August 25th.
