I would like to think that Asians who choose private schools do so for the same reasons caucasian, black or Hispanic parents do. Do they have different reasons specific to their Asian heritage?

I am Asian, married to a Caucasion man. Two children, 1 DD, 1DS. We chose public for elementary school because our local school was Chinese immersion or else we old have sent them to private.
