Time for a change in projects

I am just venting....If some one is having a heart procedure...one to prevent a heart attack, you do not tell the person right after than starting in FY14, the project is defunded, probably.

This happened to me....I got a stent put in to a cardiac artery...everything went well. Within an hour of returning to my room, I was told that our funding for the next fiscal year is not happening. I did tell my boss that I wanted to know ASAP, but still, this could have waited until I was back at work, and not in a hospital room.

Did your boss come to your hospital room to tell you? If not, it's your fault for answering your phone or checking your work email.

You said you wanted to know ASAP. I guess you need to be more clear about what you mean when you say 'ASAP' as that usually means as soon as possible to the rest of the world.
