| I'm headed to DC for work training for a week. I'd love some recommendations for some restaurants near DuPont circle. I love ethnic and healthy stuff. But, ill be alone, no nothing crazy fancy. Any thoughts? Breakfast lunch or dinner? |

Lunch or dinner at Hank's Oyster bar. There are lots of fresh veggies on the menu and healthful enough seafood options. (Plenty of rich decadent options too.)
Mandu is fun for easy pretty good Korean. |

Pizzaria Paradiso
Le Pain Quotidien is a chain, but it's good for breakfast |

Does anyone from DC actually eat at La Tomate? I've lived here for 20 years and never darkened their doorstep. I think of it as a place where the concierge at the Hilton sends folks. |
+1. Never been to Tomate. |
Come to think of it me neither. I've lived here since '94. I've eaten at a ton of other places in and around Dupont though. |
Once on business in 1987. I remember that Jim Vance was there that night... |
| Ping Pong Dim Sum is fun. Maybe for lunch one day? |
| Some of these are terrible suggestions! |
What would you suggest, then? |
