If you use a personal trainer, how much does each session cost? Are you at a gym or using someone independent?
My gym is quoting me about $70 a session and that seems really high. Am I right or is that what the market will support? |
| I pay $75/session for an independent that comes to my house or meets me at my office gym (depends on the day and my schedule). That does sound high for a gym-based trainer as they're often less skilled or at least less experienced. |
| We pay $75 am hour as well. |
| My JCC costs 62 an hour. I only go about twice a month, even though I go to the gym daily. I just use the sessions for new ideas, forum checks and some additional ways to challenge myself. |
thats about right. The price per session usually goes down if you sign up for a bigger package, but I'd say the going rate is $70-90/hr. |

I used to do 1 on 1 and it was $90/hr. He was the top trainer at my gym. Now I have another person that joins us and it is $65. It is very expensive, but my body has literally transformed. Plastic Surgery could have not made me look this good.
My biggest problem now, is that I don't know how to quit him. I'm addicted and afraid that my body will fall apart. |
I'm in the same boat. |
| I've paid $35 for half-hour sessions as part of a package. I only needed a few sessions - just wanted to learn some new exercises and make sure I was doing the current exercises (machines @ Gold's) correctly. |
| Joined lifetime and got a free package of personal trainer sessions. |
