Which champagne is best for mimosas?

Do you have a favorite one? Nothing very expensive though

Prosecco. I like Riondo, and you can get it for around $10-12/bottle at finewine.com.

Don't put champagne in mimosas, put sparkling white wine.

What's the difference? Is it sweeter? More bubbly?

I like prosecco in mimosas. It is a little sweeter so it doesn't clash with the OJ.

Real champagne only comes from the Campagne region of France (and is legally protected as such). There is champagne etiquette, which you should not mix champagne with juices. However, it's great with regular sparkling white wine.

Prosecco or Cava--try to get a dry one.

Cava or Freixenet.

Yes technically if it's not from "Champagne" then it's sparking wine, but same dif.
