| See's at the Mall in Bethesda. Thought they were better than Godiva. |

It's called Velati's. They are famous for their caramels. My parents grew up eating Velati's in the 1930s in DC. |
It's called Velatis. |
| Kron chocolate mazza gallerie |
| Stella's on Rockville Pike. |
| There's a new chocolate specialty shop on Woodmont Ave in Bethesda. |
I love See's but don't consider them high end. OP, you might just go to Balducci's and see what they have. It won't be local but neither are most of the other options. Even whole foods has some nice boxed chocolates. There is a local chocolatier that sells at the Bethesda farmers market on Sundays. Might be worth looking into. It's actually surprising that we don't have better local options in this area. |
+1 million! It's technically in DC but right on the border. Mommy loves yummy Kron Chocolatier! Go to http://www.krondc.com/ |
| Range (the restaurant) offers their confections in a to-go box, including caramels & chocolates. Also Praline off of Sangamore. |
Great recs - I forgot about both of those. |
