How can I find out how many immersion classrooms at different MCPS schools?

Trying to figure out how many kindergarten classrooms there are at the different immersion programs. I've looked at the MCPS website, but if the info is there, I'm missing it somehow. I'm particularly interested in RCF, Rolling Terrace, Sligo, and Burnt Mills. If anyone knows the answer (or where I can find it on the website), I would be grateful. Also, if you know if the number of classrooms is scheduled to change for the 2014-15 school year, I'd be interested in knowing that too. Thanks for any help.

I know there are two at RCF and two at RT. I am kind of plugged into the whole immersion thing and I haven't heard of any plans to change the numbers of classrooms.

Just 1 at burnt mills. 2 at the others

Interesting that there's only 1 at Burnt Mills. Is it because of lack of interest, space, or something else?

There's definitely 2 Spanish Immersion kindergartens at Rolling Terrace, although there used to be 3. A few years ago they cut back.

There are 2 french immersion KGs at Sligo Creek

The administration at Burnt Mills doesn't seem to be very supportive of the immersion program. That may account for the one K class there.

Does anyone know the # of classrooms for the Mandarin immersion programs at College Gardens and Potomac?

I believe the county is not particularly supportive of immersion these days and I'm wondering if you do too.

There is 1 immersion class for each grade at college gardens. At Maryvale, there are 2.
For specific numbers, you can call the consortia/choice office at 301-592-2040
