clomid and BBT

is temping still accurate when you take clomid? i think i read that OPK results aren't accurate when youv'e taken clomid.....

I have been taking clomid for 3 months now and I am temping and doing the OPK and I can tell you that Clomid has absolutely NO EFFECT on temping and OPK results. OPK results are completely ACCURATE on clomid: the OPK has always accurately detected ovulation for me while on Clomid and so did the temping (I do both together). I highly recommend doing the OPK while on Clomid b/c you do not want to miss ovulation and be taking Clomid for nothing.

Both temps and OPK's have been accurate for me while on clomid as well.

Clomid should not affect your BBT. Injectable meds (FSH) will affect your temps so don't rely on BBT if you move on to those big guns.

op here -- THANKS!

i am stil temping and using opks... actually, going in to see the RE tomorrow morn -- should be day 14 -- he wants to do a post coital and sono.

i have pco so opks have been showing + on and off throughout my cycle but my temp never rises to where it should so i know i wasn't actually ovulating...
