Whole Kids Academy is Bethesda's newest language immersion preschool dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, education and enrichment to children ages 2-5 years old. We are a family-owned preschool and as parents of two young boys ourselves, we sought to build a place that we would want to send our own children. We have created a warm, cheerful and safe environment with highly qualified teachers to engage our children in fun, age-appropriate learning activities and creative play. We believe in nourishing children's young bodies with nutritious organic food, lots of sunshine, activity and exercise. We also believe there is a special window of opportunity to reach young children through music, language and technology, which is why they have each earned a prominent place in our everyday curriculum. Above all, our goal is to provide the perfect balance of education and fun through creative play and interactive projects to instill a lifelong love of learning in each child that walks through our doors.

We are conveniently located near Old Georgetown Road near 495 approximately 1.5 miles from NIH, Walter Reed Naval Medical Center and downtown Bethesda.

Our hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Hi there! We are a new full-time language immersion preschool for children ages 2-5 located in the Education Building at Wildwood Baptist Church on Old Georgetown Road. We are currently running a promotion for new enrollments. Any families that enroll before September 1st, 2013 will receive a 15% discount on tuition through the end of the year. Are your teachers native in spanish and if so which countries are they from? There are lots of different dialects and accents around the world which make a difference learning to speak spanish properly.

All of our teachers are native in the languages they will be teaching.

Our program runs year round and we offer a 15% discount on tuition for any child who has a younger sibling currently enrolled at the same time.

In addition, we are currently running a promotion for all families that enroll from now until September 1st, 2013. We are offering a 15% discount off tuition from our opening in September to the end of the year.

That's great but still would like to know basically what countries your Spanish language teachers are from....some places have very strong accents. Also what other languages are you offering?

My son, currently goes to WKA. we love it. He is now understanding fluent Spanish. I know one of the teachers is from Spain. Not sure about the others, but the Spanish they speak does not have a heavy accent. I'm not a native speaker, but I do understand some and what they are teaching him is easy for me to keep up with.

Also, WKA has a great atmosphere for our child. Since he started attending, his vocabulary has improved, his social skills are amazing and he's learning new things every day. ..... and he'd only 19 months old. I can't wait to see what else they teach him. Also, the teachers and director are amazingly caring. They have truly become a part of our child's life and we are thankful for it!
