Dumb Question About School Supplies

I'm going to call the school tomorrow and ask if this is a typo or not but just wanted to throw this out there: my daughter's supply list for 3rd grade says she needs a 3" 3-ring binder. We went to target yesterday and the biggest binders they have are 2", and those were huge. I cannot imagine why a 3rd grader would need a 3" binder. This has to be a typo, right?

Your mistake was going to target. Staples has binders that big.

The reason that you should get the biggest binder is that they usually have every subject in the binder.It does get pretty big.

Yup. They put folders for every subject in that binder and all their homework, classwork, pretty much everything goes in there. The bigger and sturdier the better.

I bought 3 inchers at Target last week. Staples prices will be much higher..though probably better selection.
