Were You Showing @ 15 weeks?

| I feel like my belly is still really flabby from my 1 year old, but I can't help but think it is the baby already showing. When did you show? |

| I'm showing at 9 weeks. Third pregnancy and no abdonimal muscle tone left whatsoever. |

| I'm pregnant with my first and at 13 weeks a secretary in my office (who had no idea I was even trying to get pregnant) asked if I had a baby bump. So yes, I was showing at 15 weeks, but only to people who knew me - everyone else probably just assumed I had some pudge around the middle. |

| A woman I work with is pregnant with her 4th and is 12 weeks. She is so big already - I would say like I was at 4-5 months. |

I didn't show until around 22-24 weeks...of course, I thought I was, but people around me would exclaim "Really??!?" when I told them how far along I was. This is my first.
I just got to 29 weeks, though, and I am popping. I really do think it matters which pregnancy you are on, too. |

| I have heard that when it's your second pg you start showing earlier than when it's your first. Also, who knows, maybe you are having twins? A friend of mine was measuring big and that's how they found out she was having twins. |

| With my first, I started showing at around 22 weeks. With #2, at about, oh, 6 weeks. The difference in the two pregnancies is remarkable. I'm 25 weeks now and seriously don't know how much bigger I can get before I explode! Last time, I started wearing maternity clothes when I hit 26 weeks. This time - 12 weeks. It's just strange feeling hugely pregnant during the 2nd trimester. |

I agree. I look more bloated and puffy than officially "showing" (preg. #2 DD is 17 mo.). At my 12 week appt, the midwife told the uterus has expanded up to the (pubic) hair line and by 16 weeks it should be approaching the belly button...so that might help you justify it a bit more

I know! Isn't it depressing? You think you look very obviously pregnant and most around you just think you've put on a few pounds...
