Curious how efficient my house is. make sure you post caveat like no gas or electric water heater etc... gas bill

1,526 sf not including full basement (so probably 2100 sf total)
Cape cod built 1942 gas range/gas water heater (i think) temp set around 78 all the time, plus an upstairs window unit set at 75 gas bill - $20 electric bill - $88 total cost - $108. |

2026 sq ft not including unfinished basement
Colonial built 1978 Everything is electric, no gas in house. I have a programmable thermostat that I set for 78 from 5 am- 5 pm, 73 from 5 pm- 5 am on weekdays, 73 all day on the weekends if we are home. I will caveat with the fact that we were out of town for 8 days in July and turned the whole AC system off. Electric bill -$108 |

Programmable thermostat set at 76 in morning/evening when we are home, 80 when we are not. No gas. average $80/month in summer. Can get up to $120 in the dead of winter. |

We have a programmable set to 72-74 when we are away, and 68 all night. (we are on the third floor and hate to sleep hot, and I bolded b/c I see most ppl are well above that) Our bill for July was $177. |
