Ft. Washington resident here. Are there any opinions/advice/insight on Rose Valley Elementary out there? All the reviews online are pretty negative, but the most recent opinion is from 2008. I am hoping things have changed because I really want to enroll in public school, volunteer and help PGCPS get better...just not at the expense of my kids.

I am interested in knowing the best private school options in this area as well. What schools in Alexandria (or other parts of VA) do residents in Ft. Washington/South County send their kids to?
