Was looking at countertops and came across this one. What does everyone think?
|
| Well, truthfully. Very bad. It makes everything look like a throwback to a time when only sandy types of marble were available. A little too 60s for me. Or maybe I'm reacting to the small squared tiling used for the backsplash - also a throw back |
| I like gold granite but like it better with white cabinets. The picture you posted is too monochromatic for me. |
| We just had Kashmir Gold installed with our white cabinets. It looks very nice. It's not as stripey as in the photo. Ours has a lot of gray in it, so it doesn't look as gold as the name would suggest. Our walls are painted gray. |
| ugly |
| It's not my favorite but I could see how it would work with white cabinets. |
|
dated
and generally too yellow, but I guess it depends on the specific slab |
| Fugly! |
| Not my style. |
| Definitely dated, as is most granite. There are some granites that are less dated than others, but this screams 1990s to me. |
what kind of backsplash would you prefer? |
|
not a fan.
I don't like busy granite. |
| I think it's beautiful! |
| I like it , its a lot better than other granites with the swirls which are definitely dated. |
| Very pretty, but I think it would look best if it were allowed to stand out. |
