How to stay up to date- technology and kids

I thought kids texted, now i think some se on to other things My kids are like most kids, learning about new media and technology. I'm always feeling like I'm two steps behind, would like to have a better understanding. Are there any good blogs, sites or dare I say a book ( but it's prob out of date by the time it is printed) any one would recommend? Of course I can and do talk to my kids about it, but also interested in a resource for myself to stay current and updated with what they are doing/learning.
