What Do you look for in a Dog Walker? Pet/House Sitter?

What do you expect out of this person? Would you trust a newcomer to the business? A friend and I want to start our own business and we have experience with pets/house sitting, etc. We both have personal references (friends we have pet sit for) but nothing from a business aspect. Looking into all requirements for what we will need.

And how much do you pay/expect to pay someone to:

Walk a dog?

Pet Sit (either daily or overnight)?

House Sit?

Also looking into offering some other services as well: Grocery shopping, errand running, dry cleaners, personal shopper, etc.

Would love some input from those out there who would use a service like this.

expect to receive $13 to $20 per dog walk depending on how long you walk, etc.
