Momease

Anyone love/hate the Momease class offered through GW? It seems to be a private company that contracts with GW, but it looks pretty basic. I'm planning to do the free GW tour anyway, so I'm not sure the hospital-specific information in the Momease class would really be needed. Thanks!

Which class? They offer a bunch.

I took prenatal yoga at GW and thought it was fine - I'm not much of a yogi. I took the labor and delivery class at Sibley, which is also run through Momease and it was fine as well. It was more of an overview of the entire process than a specific natural birth guide.

It totally depends on what you are looking for.

I thought the Momease GW birth class was fine. Very thorough overview, but not a natural childbirth class. They prepped me well enough that I felt much more in control when I had several complications before/after birth. I did not deliver at GW, but found the class to be helpful anywhere you deliver.
