Sometimes they love and sometimes they hate you

In last 15 years I have had nine jobs. Most places I worked they loved me and tried to keep me as long as possible. I have former bosses and colleagues who regularly stay in touch. However, in two of those jobs I just couldn't seem to do anything right and the culture made me really uncomfortable. One manager really disliked me. I guess 2 out of nine isn't bad. Both times the boss was pretty narcissistic and it drove me crazy. How often have you had a job misfit?

Just once, but fortunately it was an internship and ended of it's own accord without them or me having to do anything. Definitely not the happiest time in my life, though.

Once - my direct boss hated me and poisoned the well, so to speak, with many of my colleagues. I was on the verge of quitting - this was my second job in my field and I loved the first one and they loved me so I was going to go back to my previous job after my maternity leave ended. I had left because the hours were bad and the new job was much more family friendly. While I was out on maternity leave, my toxic boss left the organization and so I went back. 4 years later I'm still at the second job, have been promoted twice, and really love it.

Nine jobs in 15 years? Wow. I don't see how you can conclude that they loved you or tried to keep you.
