Anyone Regret their Cork Floors?

Cork comes up now and then on this board. People either love it or hate it. I'm curious to hear follow-ups.

Please include where you bought the cork and brand name. It seems that some brands (Wicander, US Floors) are more durable than other (Lumber Liquidators, HD).

Love it. Was in our basement when we bought. Don't know the brand or installer but it's light, kinda looks like this: http://www.riemerfloors.com/Cork-Floors-s/46.htm

No pets, 3 kids, easy to clean and maintain, no complaints at all. In fact we will redo a bathroom next year and plan to use cork flooring.

I had it in my kitchen for 4.5 years until I moved. No idea what brand it was, and no regrets.

Do not have cork floor experience but have always wanted to try it. There are cork floors and walls at the Pope-Leighey house which is so cool. Sorry but that is all I know about cork!

To me, it looks like subfloor.

We have it in our basement. Seller had put it in. We thought we'd dislike it, but now LOVE it. No problems with moisture, it's not cold like tile or dirt-catching like carpet.

We had cork installed in our basement in April. Have no regrets whatsoever. Our basement is warm and inviting, and is a great functional living space now. Cork is softer to walk on, and doesn't really get cold like tile or linoleum. I was told that it holds up well basements.

Love our cork kitchen flooring. Sorry- don't know the brand. We got it at Dominion Floors in Arlington. We have had it for more than 10 years, and it still looks new. It has had tons of water spilled on it and has never buckled, swelled, etc. Highly recommend.

Is cork a lot more/less expensive than other flooring options? Obviously I can look into this but in general?

My brother and I were discussing this last night as he has cork in his kitchen and stated that he would not use cork again. He's disappointed with the long term fade and some shrinkage. No personal experience with it though.
