| Any good easy picnic ideas that are easy, filling, portable in a stroller (so just a very small cooler bag), delicious, and oh yeah, gluten free but appealing to those who aren't? Too much to ask? Hummus, veggies, and fruit are our go-to options, but I'm looking to branch out. |

Some of the things I pack for our picnics at the park-
Deli turkey or pieces of rotisserie chicken ( ok served cold) GF crackers/ non GF whole wheat low sodium crackers Cheese slices / cheese sticks Black olives Grapes / pieces of fruit The kids get to make their own little cracker sandwiches. I also bring pasta. I heat it up before we leave and keep it in the cooler bag (without ice) to keep it warm until we are ready to eat. |
