my crazy Catholic friend posted this yesterday as another "abortion is sin" thing, but I just think this is nasty on a human level. I mean, the chick doesn't sound like she is a peach or very credible, but this is just really slimy.

I never liked JJ Redick to begin with, but to draw up a contract like this where you agree to have a sham relationship OR collect $25K? Weird.

Regardless of any BS contract he presents, no father can ever escape support obligations because child support is meant to prevent the child from becoming a ward of the state. This guy is a creep.

Not condoning what he did - I think it is a douche move.

But my brother is a sports agent and he said that there is a cottage industry among groupies to get pregnant by athletes - especially NBA players where the salary is high and the contracts are guaranteed. He tells me all the time that it is a lifestyle that "normal" people do not understand.

Besides that, he got it right with this woman. She has sued at least 2 NBA players for relationship stuff - including Shaq.
