What didn't you like about CM?

Trying to get some real answers. I know a few families are not returning. But, when asked why, the answer is always very vague. Any specific criticism? We are in the fortunate position of trying to decide between two good schools.

I have heard only 2 families are not returning- and in my sons class they are all coming back. I have way more positive things to say then negative...sorry.

^^^^^^

I don't know anyone not coming back. No school is perfect for every kid but overall people are really happy.

Lack of outdoor space. Commute was difficult. Temporary location = uncertainty. Otherwise no complaints.

What is CM?

Lack of outdoor space? Isn't there a park across the Street?

Has CM Head of school given an indication on where the school hopes to be permanently located?

Thoughts on Janney v. CM?

Is your kid Special Needs? If so, CM may be better.

From where was the commute difficult?

No school location is going to be perfect for everyone. But CM is really pretty centrally located right now and accessible by metro and major bus lines.

Yes. Park across the street and a converted parking area out back.

Poor organization, inexperienced teachers, lack of diversity, limited exposure to foreign languages, park across street is quite dirty, uncertainty about long-term home, etc.

PP, Do you feel the teacher's inexperience limited his/her ability to teach your child or effectively handle the clasroom?

Lack of diversity - Why? Do you think minorities are not being recruited for the lottery with the same enthusiasm as White students?
