Best free checking brick and mortar for zero account balance

Anonymous
We have a bank of america account but transitioned everything to an online bank.

We have kept the BOA account open for cash deposits and money orders etc... but have a zero balance.

We did not have to pay any fees because we had mortgages with BOA.

BOA sold all of the mortgages and now we want to close the account to avoid paying a fee.

Are there any Brick and Mortar banks that allow you to keep a zero account balance without fees?

IF you qualify, Navy Federal Credit Union or PEN FED only requires a balance of $5 to maintain your saving account without a fee.
