How long are black beans okay

I cooked black beans last Wednesday the 3rd then cooled and froze them. I thawed them on Monday and we've eaten them some this week.

Would you eat the rest today? I'll bring them to a rolling boil and make a black bean soup.

Or are we past the safe to eat range?

They really start to smell when they'll bad, so as long as they don't stink you should be fine.

I made some fresh 2 weekends ago, kept them in the fridge for a week and used them in a salad week-old. No problem.

Thanks, DH went out to dinner so i ate yogurt. Will smell them tomorrow and make a call.
