Teddy bear camp

Anyone have recent experience with teddy bear camp at the national cathedral? It's been recommended by friends but there is not much information online. I understand (from the archives) that the director has had some issues in the past and well, I'm naturally wary of any place that has spots open the week of. Have people used this camp? Do you feel comfortable with the care they provided your child?
