Could be in DC or Bethesda; I was thinking of afternoon tea but I'd love to find a place in Bethesda so the critical people don't have to travel far. Would be a Saturday lunch/tea time thing. Has to be delicious/beautiful. Party of 10 or so. Any suggestions?
My baby shower was a Mrs. K's Toll House in Silver Spring. The food is good but not amazing but the property is cute and has amazing gardens and everyone was impressed.
The semi private rooms at the Blue Duck for brunch/lunch would be perfect. I've hosted events in there with babies and toddlers in tow and they have been nothing but gracious about our little guests. The family style tasting menu is spectacular!
I've been to a couple DELICIOUS baby showers at Coco Sala
Old Tabard Inn. Great rooms upstairs.
Range at Chevy Chase Pavillion has a private room. I believe Blue Duck does an afternoon tea. Lia's in Friendship Heights may have a private room. And I believe Rosa Mexicana in Friendship Heights has a private room too.
Seasons 52 in N. Bethesda has private party rooms. Food has always been good but service can be slow.
Addie's and Black Market can accommodate groups and the food is great at both.
