MoCo DCC Lottory

Has anyone had experience with the lottory process for the MoCo DCC? I read the info on the MCPS web site but just wondering what success rate on getting into the first choosen HS.

OP here - I am choosing Montgomery Blair to be the first choice for my DS.

We found a house that we like but it is in Wheaton HS area.

Blair is a very popular first choice and therefore hard to get into via DCC lottery.

I would make sure you are comfortable with your home school before buying.
