Good winter swim programs?

Anyone have any good recommendations for winter swim programs in western Fairfax County (in Centreville but willing to drive a bit)? Everything I'm finding is too far considering DD is only five, but I'd like to have her in a program where she can work on her strokes during the school year. I've found a few developmental winter swim teams in PW county (we're not far from Gainesville so it's doable) but was hoping there was something nearby. It seemed like a lot of swim clubs have winter swim at the rec centers - would love to figure out if anyone uses Cub Run Rec Center so we could just go there.

Why not just do stroke mechanics or something similar through Parktakes. That's what we did for our son when he was that age. A winter swim program for a 5 year old seems like overkill.

OP here - that's pretty much what we're looking for. Once a week stroke lessons (wasn't thrilled with the Parktakes swim she had a couple of years ago, though). I don't want a serious program but she wants to join the swim team next summer (and loves the pool and lessons) so I thought I'd keep her in during the school year once a week to work on strokes and keep her skill up.

Most summer teams have a school year long once a week swim training session. If she is iPod a summer team...she could qualify. Maybe Tom Dolan's school. A friend's10yearoldtwi s does FISH. Lives it. My kids are with Machine and like it.

P.s. my friend's son started at 5 with FISH. We started Machine at 6 years.

Thanks, PP. She wants to do it next year, didn't do it this year as we weren't quite swimming across the pool yet a few months ago but now she is flying. I saw FISH but Spring Hill is a bit far. I saw that Curl Burke has a five year old program at the Freedom Center in Manassas ...are these other locations the same program just at various practice spots throughout the area? That could work for us.

How close is Burke racquet and swim club?

Looks like about 16 miles from me - if it was on the weekend it wouldn't be too bad, although I was hoping to find something on a weeknight. I'll Google the programs there - was there one in particular you would recommend?

We have friends who do the stroke & turn clinic through Burke Racquet through the winter and love it. Their kids were 6 & 9 this past year. Sunday afternoons
