preschool opening in Arlington

Hi - we will be moving to Arlington (Leeway Heights) at the end of the year and I need to find a full-day preschool for my 3 YO. Please let me know if you have heard of any openings in January, 2009. Thank you! Alice Kamps

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a full day program for a 3yo. They're just too young for that much time. You may have to look for a preschool/daycare combo if that's the issue. But on a more positive front, the Arlington County website has a list of preschools that is very comprehensive.

It's not full day, but you may want to try Full Circle Montessori. I think they may have openings.

Children's House Montessori has a full-day program. I don't know if they have any openings though.

This was obnoxious. She wasn't asking you to judge her childcare decisions.

Children's House Montessori and Arlington Montessori House both have *shudder* full day preschool for 3 year olds and have excellent programs. Although both are highly competitive and may not have openings. But it's worth a call. There's a bilingual preschool in Arlington that has a full-day program. I think it's called Early Beginnings. Relatively new, so they may have openings. Good luck. Preschool is tough to find in Arlington, full day or part-time.
