Although not as inclusive as the new Rosedale Playground, the new Palisades Playground that the District just opened has a nice rubber surface and an accessible swing.

Good, let's bus kids from all over town to enjoy this fancy playground. Why should it just be the expensive parts of town that get this stuff? Our 'hood playground is falling apart.

Woa. That playground needed help. My daughter attended the pre-school at DC Parks and Rec three years ago and it was pretty shabby. We should be happy that so many neighborhoods are getting new playgrounds and with at least accessbility encouraged and not gripe. And parents do drive to playgrounds in other neighborhoods when they are nice. I'm happy about it.

which playground? is it scheduled for a renovation soon? DC Parks has been having listening sessions and doing a lot of outreach to hear the communities needs.
