Bradley Hills ES -- anyone know details about the construction?

Does anyone know if the huge drainage water pit at the Bradley Hills ES school expansion will be gone when the school is ready in August? There are rumors going around that they're going to keep it and wall it off. Sounds really weird to me and wanted to see if anyone has the inside scoop? Thanks!
