Bears up 7-0 over the Saints.

Still in the first quarter.

Not sure what has happened to SSSA but their program has fallen off big time since last season.

Someone wrote on Twitter or IG about just how bad schools are with their streams and even little things like updating the rosters. This is a small example but parents notice when schools like SSSA can't even get a stream up and going. They don't want ESPN but they want some level of effort. There are tons of options out there and parents want something to show for their tuition $$$. This goes beyond lacrosse.

Comeback happening. 14-3

Landon 13-1 at half and pulled all starters. SSSA has really fallen off the rails.

St Stephen’s has historically been pretty competitive the past few years, not sure what is happening over there but they are extremely down.

That is perplexing. In the last 10 yrs they have been VERY good. I don’t get it.

Gonzaga attack (UMD) and GP middie (Hopkins) probably have true best shot.

Inside Lacrosse has a hand in the selections and they have the SJC middie (MD) at #36 so he is also in the mix. Prep and SJC LSMs are listed as four stars but outside the top 44. That's probably it.

These Inside Lacrosse LAX BROs are pretty clueless when it comes to rankings / player stars.

One of the best players in the entire area this Spring is Landon's LSM, Davis Owens, headed to Tufts this Fall. While only a D3 program, they can likely blow out half the programs in D1.

After watching the Prep - Landon stream last week, if Prep has an LSM headed to Duke or ND, I couldn't even tell you if they played as they had no impact in the game. . Prep's best D-man is headed to Villinova, he was a force on defense.

Just stop with the D3 can blow out half the D1 program non sense. So much parody in D1 this year that is not true. Colgate can beat a top ranked team but not Tufts. No disrespect to top D3 schools but some D3 parents just sound desperate to justify why kid did not go D1. Tufts could beat maybe 8-10 D1 programs but zero shot of winning any D1 conference and they are only blowing out one D1 team and that is Hampton.

Or maybe Landon's LSM is a bright kid who places his education ahead of lacrosse. Tufts is a great school.

Then why doesnt he go IVY or Duke Or UNC or Michigan or Hopkins? He may end up there but stop with the nonsense

Different sport but the Landon bball player who went to Penn because he blossomed in senior summer and senior summer; was freshman player of the year in Ivy; and is now transferring to Villanova. Lots of other examples in the lax world with the transfer portal.

Landon LSM could have played Ivy. He did not want to, wanted NESCAC

St. John's seems to have had 2 guys in the game since TJ Haleys senior year. I would expect one more getting an invite.

Because maybe he didn’t get offers from those schools. There are plenty of D1 schools that aren’t great academically. I’d choose a quality D3 school over a lesser D1 school. It’s not like these kids will have careers in lacrosse, like basketball or football players.

I'd like to see Mount St. Mary's play Tufts or RIT or Salisbury. Mount would lose
