Favorite Penzey's Spices

I am obsessed with the greek seasoning and use it to marinade chicken, beef and on veggies. I bought the Northwood seasoning but didn't love it. Any recommendations? We mostly roast veggies and grill or roast chicken breast and fish.

They have a chili powder mix that has cocoa powder in it. I haven't bought it yet, but it smells divine!

Sunny Paris is my go-to, and we also like Bavarian nights, adobo, sandwich sprinkle, sate, and shallot pepper- esp on veggies. Hmm, I'm due for a run to get more of each of those, plus the Vietnamese cinnamon.

taco seasoning, plus things like cinnamon, vanilla, etc.

Yup. I would buy the smallest amount possible. They last a while.

Sunny Paris is great, but pricey. They just started carrying a berbere blend which I am looking forward to trying.
I put Aleppo pepper in everything.
Their dutch cocoa beats the hell out of Droste.

Italian Dressing base. I use olive oil and good balsamic vinegar and make a nice, easy dressing that is so much healthier than store bought.

I buy the big bags of spices and store in our extra freezer. So cost effective.

I love the Garden Salad seasoning on salads, pasta and cottage cheese.

There is also a Penzey's store in Falls Church on Broad Street.

No kidding. I bought a bag of whole nutmeg (maybe 10-12 nuts) about six years ago, and have gone through three. And I use a LOT of nutmeg.

Trinidad lemon-garlic - my go-to seasoning for chicken or for steamed veggies
California seasoned pepper - I use it in the place of regular ground pepper, slightly milder and good flavor
Bavarian seasoning
Cake spice - I use it anywhere I'd use cinnamon, like mixed w/ sugar and sprinkled on toast - yum
Breakfast sausage seasoning
English prime rib rub
I use their spices a LOT, these are my favorites.

14:36 here - forgot one - Chicago Steak Seasoning. Don't be fooled by the name, it's fantastic on chicken or pork chops. Pretty high in salt, though.
