This product was unavailable for a while due to their co=packer shutting down unexpectedly. They have started to resume production, but I have been unable to find it anywhere. DD has a soy food challenge next week and our allergist wants to use soy yogurt. Has anyone seen this product anywhere? The Stonyfield Soy Yogurt contains milk, and DD is allergic to milk. Silk also makes one, which according to their website is available at Wegmans. I have contacted them about cross contamination of allergens, but if it's ok, that my backup plan. Thanks!
Check out the MOM's (My Organic Market) in the new Mosiac District in Merrifield. I'm pretty sure I saw it there last week. Did you try Whole Foods? What about soy pudding? Sorry, don't know the brand name, but it has a panda on the package.

In the past several weeks, I haven't been able to find of the Whole Soy yogurt anywhere. At Whole Foods, I was told it was a supplier issue and that they would have it back in when it was available.) I couldn't find plain Silk Soy yogurt either. Trader Joes used to sell large tubs of soy yogurt, but the've been out also. (I didn't ask there, but I suspect it's the same supplier that is rebranded for TJ).
The Whole Foods in Pimmit Hills had Silk Soy Yogurt in fruit flavors. If I recall correctly, they had strawberry, blueberry, peach, and lemon. I'm not sure if you can use a fruit flavor for her challenge. My younger daughter and husband are also allergic to milk, so it's been very frustrating not to be able to find soy yogurt. If you find any, can you report back? I'd appreciate it! |
Thanks for the leads. I checked the silk website and it says it is available at Wegmans, so I am going to check there. I have also heard that it is available at some whole foods, so I will check there as well. I will definitely report back what I find.
I found Vanilla and Strawberry Whole Soy at the Whole Foods in Clarendon yesterday. They also had strawberry, blueberry, and peach silk soy.
