Terrace Restaurant at the Kennedy Center. Expensive, but pretty good quality.

The Terrace restaurant is definitely worth considering, esp. if you like buffets. Other possibilities are Blue Duck and Ris.

Tony Joe's at the Waterfront. About $45 person but sumptuos buffet.. Seafood, etc.

Founding Farmers is great too. If you metro, it is close to Foggy Bottom/Kennedy Center shuttle
