Looking for suggestions for food for DH's 40th birthday party. Either catering that comes to our home or catering, like Maggiano, that could either be picked up or delivered. At most there will be 30 people and would like to have food that is easy to walk around and socialize and not require everyone to be seated at a table. We are in Rockville/Kensington area. Any suggestions as far as places and menus?

| What about Cava (in Rockville, but not your part of Rockville)? http://cavamezze.com/catering |
| We did Rocklands BBQ for DH's 40th. They deliver. |
| Check out Broadbranch Market. They have their catering menu online. Excellent. |
| Check with Lebanese Taverna - I think they have an outpost up there? My friend uses them to cater a party every year and it's delicious. Also second the Rocklands suggestion. |

+1 for BBQ.
Here's what you really need, all in generous quantity: Good pulled pork. Good buns. BBQ sauce (the good stuff from the caterer) Hot sauce Guacamole Chips Beer Slaw is optional That is all. |
| Hill Country BBQ. |
Yes, Lebanese Taverna is great. We've used them before. A friend of mine used Urban BBQ for her DH's b-day. It was quite good too. |
| We just catered from Urban BBQ. Their food is amazing. They deliver if it's over $250 (which you would easily be with 30 people). We called the one on Norbeck Road in Rockville. We did pulled chicken, brisket, a wing platter, mac and cheese, cornbread, corn on the cob, baked beans. The food was amazing and easy. |

OP here. Thanks for all the suggestions. Rocklands seems to have a pretty big selection. I'm going to try there first.
Thanks again. |
