I’m not. I hate Trump and everything about this administration and it’s clear to me at least that he is heavily involved. I’m just starting to wonder who else is involved in the crimes or cover up. I think the corruption is far reaching and I wish everyone involved would be outed and in jail.

Anything is possible but the most likely reason why these files haven't been released to the public is that there are people associated with political mega-donating entities implicated in those files. If there is one thing in this world a GOP or Dem politician will protect, it's their donors who spoil them with cash.

+1. I suspect that the files could be argued as a national security risk if whats in the documents creates a deeper unraveling of public trust in general. I also suspect not just donors being protected but also big business corporations that would experience backlash if exposed and public connects dots. I think the list runs the whole gamut of powerful, popular, influential leaders, and don’t think its limited to just US politicians.

Withholding the information is also creating a deep unraveling of public trust. It's surely not limited to politicians, but no one should be protected regardless of their fame, wealth, or power.

Public trust should 'unravel' if the recipients of the trust are, in fact, untrustworthy.

I’m a PP that made the national security comment, not with the intention of distraction, or defending non-disclosure, but rather to highlight the relevancy and magnitude of the type of conflict of interest(s) that we should expect.

Our entire political system and government needs to brace for the impact of what could be a terrible fallout of public trust in general once the files are released.

We are at a crux in history. I see the trees, I see the forest, even seedlings of the weeds… but was thinking from an eagle eyed view. I personally think we the people need to know, for the very reason you emphasized. IMO, he has always been unfit, but as a sitting president, the implications are grave.
