I know we seriously under-estimated the difficulty of getting a preschool spot in the area..... we've never had any trouble finding a spot in north california...
my husband and i are moving from california to DC area next month, and our jobs start in early september
we have a 3 year old son who is in california preschool now, and i just got news we could not get into the two preschools i got on waiting list.
we want to live in north virginia or montgomary county, with metro access to dc
any suggestion on which areas to look into/which preschools might have spots next month will be greatly appreciated!!

thanks for the replies!
we need full-day programs as both of us are working full-time.
we have never lived in the dc area before. heard that crystal city, alexandra, allington are good and not far from dc, and bethesda, rockville are good too. so we'd probably look into those neighborhoods if nearby preschools have openings
