date night restaurant recs in NOVA - reservations after 8:30?

going out to celebrate our 5 year anniversary - any recommendations?
ideally in NOVA area - vienna, mclean, falls church, arlington wouldn't be able to make a reservation until after 8:30 pm |

2941 is lovely.
Tallulah is great food but a more casual atmosphere. Great date night but not quite up to 5th anniversary, unless you want to be somewhat (not overly) casual. |

2941 has a great atmoshphere and great food. It would be my pick for a special occassion like a 5th anniversary.
Maple Ave has great food, but no so much atmosphere. Liberty Tavern has good food, but the crowd is often too young for my taste because of it's bar scene, especially that late. La Cote D'Or is nice, in an old school sort of way. Crowd is likely to be older. But the food is good. That said, I've been there for my anniversary. I've never been to Restaurant Eve, but we have nearly gone there on several special occassions. I've heard nothing but great things. |
