Pregnant while BFing

So, I just found out I am pregnant with #2 and am still BFing DS who is 8 months. Surprise! (we are very happy about it)

A few questions:

Anyone else pregnant while BFing? Does it affect my milk?
How will they calculate my due date? My last missed period was May of '07. I could be 2 weeks or 6 weeks right now, I have no idea.
Anything else I should know?

Hi! Congrats! I just found out that I too am pregnant while breastfeeding my 8 month old daughter! Your milk supply will diminish and the flavor of the milk will change. Some babies actually wean themselves due to these factors. My baby has been pulling away in frustration, as if she is not getting enough or doesn't like the taste. I just try to offer her the breast more frequently and increase her babyfood intake to 3 times daily. If you are unsure of your dates, they will likely do an early sonogram to estimate your due date. Other things to know...you should probably take extra calcium and vitamin D, but talk to your OB about that first. Again, congrats!
