Crabs and Crabcakes near Annapolis

DH and I are thinking about going out to the Annapolis area one day this week for crabs or crabcakes.
Mike's has two crab houses, one in Riva MD and the other in Pasadena. Is one better/nicer/more comfortable than the other? Or should we go someplace else? |

| Cantlors has a big following. It is right on the water and we like it a lot. But don't even think of going after 5:00 pm on a weekend or you will have a very long wait. |

Another vote for Cantler's. On the water, crab shack feel. Just outside Annapolis. Go on a off time, otherwise there will be a long wait. |

I'm the PP and I'm an annoying day tripper...I just don't want to be in a restaurant full of them. Cantlers especially has this vibe where it feels like a bunch of Capitol Hill interns and other DC types. |

i am partial to harris crab house but it is farther out.
for a very nice ambiance with seafood (not your traditional crab house) try severn inn. |
